Family Promise Spring Challenge
The past few articles about our Family Promise experiences have described the hosting challenges we faced and met each week. Today, however, I am anticipating the upcoming challenge of staffing our next hosting event, April 6 through April 13. This will be during our school’s spring break. Have you ever considered volunteering for a Family Promise shift? If you have, now would be a great time to do so. We’re looking for overnight hosts, evening hosts, Saturday hosts, cooks, shoppers, contributors, set-up crews, clean-up crews and transportation crews. I think we will need all hands on deck for this event,. New hands, seasoned hands, young and old hands, everyone is welcome. Spring will be here soon or so I’m told, and so will our Family Promise guests. It is never too soon to look at the seed catalogs or to call Pat Backman 893-1304 to sign-up for a Family Promise volunteer shift. Thank You !!!!! Sue Lloyd
